It has been called the largest exodus in India since the partition. Migrant workers are trying to return home as they cannot cope with the lockdown called to stop the spread of the COVID-19 infection. ActionAid Association is working with volunteers, social movements, civil society organisations, state governments and local administration to provide all possible support to help migrant workers have a safe journey as they return home.
