On September 21, 2026, OpenAI announced that an internal model had resolved more than 100 longstanding open problems in mathematics. We call on OpenAI to release these proofs promptly.
We recognize that the exposition of the AI-generated results may leave a lot to be desired, but we feel that it does not serve the interests of the mathematical community for OpenAI to withhold these results.
