Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion At Risk Due to Unprecedented Action by Mayor

Mayor Jenny Durkan has refused to release most of the budgeted funds for the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program. Withholding money harms a program that already needs additional funding to function.
