Welcome to the Everything Bot Common Issues page. If you're experiencing problems with the bot, check below for possible solutions before reaching out for support.

Before You Continue!!!

• Run /checkpermissions to make sure the bot can operate in the channels you want it to work in!!!

Bot Not Responding

Possible Causes:

• The bot does not have the required permissions.

• The bot is offline due to maintenance or an outage.

• The bot has not been added to the correct channel.

Solution:

• Ensure the bot has the required permissions (listed below).

• Check the bot's status in the support server.

• Reinvite the bot if necessary.

Missing Messages or Webhook Issues

Possible Causes:

• The bot lacks the Manage Webhooks permission.

• The webhook setup failed.

• The channel is not properly linked.

Solution:

• Ensure the bot has Manage Webhooks enabled in channel settings.

• Run the /start command in the intended channel to reinitialize webhooks.

Reaction Features Not Working

Possible Causes:

• The bot lacks the Add Reactions permission.

• The bot cannot access the message history.

Solution:

• Enable Add Reactions and Read Message History permissions.

• Make sure the bot is assigned the correct roles.

Attachments Not Being Sent

Possible Causes:

• The bot lacks the Attach Files permission.

• The bot is configured to block media sharing when it is necessary.

Solution:

• Enable the Attach Files permission for the bot.

• Ensure media is unpaused using !status.

Messages Not Embedding Properly

Possible Causes:

• The bot lacks the Embed Links permission.

Solution:

• Enable Embed Links in the bot's role permissions.

Bot Cannot Read or Send Messages

Possible Causes:

• The bot lacks the Send Messages and View Channels permissions.

Solution:

• Ensure the bot has View Channels and Send Messages enabled in the correct channels.

Required Permissions for Everything Bot

For the bot to function properly, it requires the following permissions:

• Add Reactions

• Attach Files

• Embed Links

• Manage Messages

• Manage Webhooks

• Read Message History

• Send Messages

• Use External Emojis

• View Channels
