Relax Moms: Self Care for Moms ("we," "our," or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it.
We do not require registration, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or location.
We do collect the following when you choose to use certain features:
Your first name, if you enter one during setup. This is stored only on your device and used to personalise the words you see in the app.
Text you send to the AI companion. When you chat with a comfort pet, your message is sent to our server and on to our AI provider so a reply can be generated.
Voice recordings, only when you use the voice venting feature. The recording is sent to our server and to a speech-to-text provider to be transcribed.
Purchase information. If you subscribe, our payments provider records that a subscription exists so we can unlock premium features. We never see or store your card details.
Anything you write in Your Safe Space is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers, not visible to us, and not shared with anyone.
Guided audio sessions and calming sounds are stored within the app and play locally. Listening to them sends us nothing.
Voice recordings you make yourself are handled as described in Section 1. They are used to produce a transcript and are not stored permanently on our servers or used to train any AI model.
We use the following services, which may process limited data on our behalf:
RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and receives an anonymous user identifier
OpenAI — powers the AI companion and speech-to-text transcription
Vercel — hosts the server that connects the app to the above
Apple App Store / Google Play — handle all payments and billing
Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
We use what we collect only to make the app work: to generate companion replies, to transcribe your voice notes, and to know whether you have an active subscription.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Relax Moms is intended for adults, primarily mothers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Journal entries, your name, and your app preferences live only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Chat messages and voice recordings are processed to generate a response or transcript and are not retained by us long-term.
To request deletion of anything associated with your app, email us at the address in Section 10 and we will action it within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
