QandA

REJUVENIS OFFERS WRINKLE RELAXER USING BOTOX, DYSPORT AND XEOMIN

Let’s face it, our face is the center of attraction. When we met people , the first thing they look at

is our face . Our face also conveys a lot of information. When we smile, angry or frown , our

facial muscles contract which overtime creates fine lines, creases, and become “wrinkles”.

Which in turn make us look older, tired, or worn down.

The great news is we have a simple solution for that which is an injection with Botox, Dysport,

or Xeomin. These products can relax those “wrinkles” making you look youthful and

rejuvenated.

Your Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner will discuss your most problematic areas with you. She will

also discuss which areas bothers you the most then will determine which facial muscles are

responsible for causing those unwanted creases or lines. Once areas are determined, with your

consent a series of injections will be made into those muscles causing the wrinkles using a very

fine needle. The injection may cause some mild discomfort but it is momentary. The procedure

is done in an office setting without invasive anesthesia but we offer topical anesthesia if you do

prefer. The beauty of this is that there is no recovery time. Patients can return to their normal

activities within minutes after the procedure. You could see minor redness or bumps but it will

disappear at the end of the day. Results usually starts between day 6 and maximum results after

day 10. Results usually last up to 4 to 6 months.

Is there difference between Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin?

There is really very minimal difference and most of the time it all depends on how you reacts to

them. All these products causes muscles to relax those wrinkles. The FDA approved its use to

treat the forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, bunny lines (lines in the nose), chin (for

dimpling), skin bands on the neck, and around the mouth (for smoker’s lines and down-turned

corners of the mouth).

Ultimately, you and your Nurse Practitioner Provider will help you decide which product and

treatment is right for your specific needs.

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are quite safe when they are administered by your qualified

Physician or Provider that are trained to use these products. However, since the active ingredient

is a powerful toxin, it should only be administered by a skilled medical professional.
