I received my new xbox series x controller today and attempted to set it up on my pc. Wired it works fine, everything is detected. Setting up the controller via bluetooth however has the triggers non-functional. I attempted to map out the controller via steam and everything works except for the triggers. Anyone get the series x controller working on pc?

I started back in October last year with a wireless generic Xbox controller and was able to put it to use when the Apache was released.. My first discovery was that the triggers are actually axis (really Microsoft???) . Another discovery was that the particular controller I got went to standby mode rather quickly and the quality of the button was actually lacking...

Won't Recognize Triggers On Xbox 360 Controller For Mac

I got lucky in that the controller I purchased maps the triggers to separate axis, but I do think Joystick Gremln has options for "merging axis" and "splitting axis" which can probably overcome this anyway.

I am not needing vJoy for my setup as I have mapped the trigger functions on the controller to emulate a keyboard press in Joystick Gremlin, then I setup binds in DCS for those keys on the keyboard to do my lase and weapon triggers in game. What are you using vJoy for in your configuration?

Is there an easier way to do this? I have a wired Xbox one controller, been trying with joy to key without success to sort the triggers out (I think I need step by step guide) Also a bit confused by the lack of keybinds within DCS for the TEDAC triggers. How do you get around that?

Yes, it is weird... I tested Antimicro with my original wireless controller and it recognizes it but no the wired one...I wanted to rested to see if I could configure the triggers to have the two stages working as they should... Currently with Joystick gremlin, stage 1 is triggered twice, on the way towards stage 2 and then in the return trip, despite the direction of travel condition... It doesn't matter for the laser, but for the weapon trigger matters!

For me the new AntimicroX can't reconnect to the wireless controller after it had been turned on/off, something with which the older version has no issues. Though if you use it with a cable that won't be a problem.

I've just gotten a Steam Deck, and I'm having the same issue as everyone else with the triggers not working using what's in our hands, even though they work in menus just fine. I've enabled my back grip buttons and remapped L4 to right click and R4 to left click, which works fine, even though it changes the UI. The game thinks the built-in Steam Deck controller is an Xbox 360 controller.

I decided to do some experimenting with my Xbox One controller, which the Steam Deck reads as an Xbox 360 controller while Steam Input is on, which, as I understand it, means it reads the triggers as analog 360 triggers instead of digital triggers, and I still can't use the triggers.

For some reason my controller's triggers only want to work some of the time with warframe, this has only started this patch 28.2.1, I use an xbox one controller and haven't had any issues previously, when I checked to see if it was a hardware issue by testing another game, it worked perfectly in said other game. as i prefer to play using a controller, this makes it quite difficult as sometimes it won't let me aim, or in worse cases, shoot. and by sometimes, i mean 50% of the time.

I am also having the same issue both triggers work only 50 percent of the time. 4 Xbox controllers and same issue wired Bluetooth doesn't make a difference. The triggers work perfectly fine on any other game.

I have problems with the triggers frequently not registering after the last update (xbox controller). A persistent problem I also have is that when I am sliding and let off the shoulder button my warframe will randomly decide it wants to roll instead of just coming out of slide. It does this while slide jumping as well.

Unfortunately I have my controller made to not respond to steams configurations, and instead the default configs in the games. though i did try when my triggers started failing, but no bueno, it continued to happen. again, before this update, no issues.

You can manually select for it to be a default config for whichever controller type in steam if you were to use Steam's controller config thing. I have to reset mine to xbox one since, every once in a awhile, an update will reset it back to the steam controller config.

I doubt it at this point lad.

Add me to the list of trigger sluggishness. And it's only the triggers as well to be more specific, all of the buttons and all of the analog sticks work fine, only the controllers decide not to function occasionally. Makes me think that during this process they may have accidentally looked specifically for third party first and then fuzzed something up in between first party software. It's interesting, this bug.

Same issue here. I had an old controller so i bought a brand new one and it's still having the same issue. Both triggers not working with xbox controller about 40% of trigger pulls. Works perfectly fine in other games as well as i tested it in the Set up USB controller app and they are working fine, just not in Warframe

When I took apart my controller, my goal was to fix the clicking sound one of my triggers was causing. Fast forward a few days later, I fixed the clicking sound after doing a complete disassembly, and when I put the back panel on my controller, it presses the triggers down, I assume moving the magnet closer to the hall effect sensor.

It's a design flaw. The triggers press against rubber grommets that sit behind them. There's a bar across the back of the triggers that presses upon the grommet. Sony, in their infinite wisdom, designed the bar so that it comes to a rather sharp point (as opposed to rounding it off), and over time it begins to cut into the rubber instead of pressing on it. The controller then reads subtantially less pressure than you're actually applying. It's especially noticeable while driving/racing in GTA and actual racing games where trigger modulation is paramount. I was getting walked by slower cars in free roam and getting stomped in races. And I couldn't do burnouts consistently.

Fixing the issue is as simple as replacing the grommet. You can buy a full set, for all the buttons on the controller, for under a dollar. It takes under five minutes to swap out. To ensure that it doesn't happen again, I cut tiny pieces of Scotch tape over each nub so that the triggers can't cut through to the rubber. You can also find triggers on eBay for, like, $2 that have rounded bars on the back, instead of Sony's stupid, sharp ones.

If you were to open the Dualshock 4 up you'd see that it's piece of junk. That may not have became a big issue yet but it will when SFV comes out. There's no way that the triggers will stand up to the sort of use that game demands. It's an intense game and people will be hitting those triggers hard and the hinges will break like twigs. Sony really need to redesign it. I've learned to be a bit more gentle with it but I know for a fact that it'll break with SFV. After years of using the XBox 360's indestructible controller I got a shock when the right triggers on my first two DS4's broke (Sony replaced them).

I've been using my Switch Pro Controller a lot and I really appreciate it for its long battery life and normal triggers, but after several years its buttons have started to feel less good to press, and my L1/R1 buttons (the triggers closest to the face of the controller) have gotten less responsive to the point that they sometimes don't work at all. So I might need to find a new controller soon.
