ReInvest Mississippi is an economic development initiative with the purpose of revitalizing Mississippi, town by town, business by business, and person by person. With an innate culture that includes hospitality, food, culture, intellectual capital, and people that can be found nowhere else in the world, Mississippi has a lot to offer in terms of economic development; cultural tourism, lifestyle entertainment, and the most business friendly regulations in the world. We are a viable option for business.
The sole purpose of ReInvest Mississippi to provide the state a unique opportunity to unite the public and private sectors; thereby, encouraging proper planning for future growth and development.
The goal is to unite the leading business owners, CEOs, presidents, and decision makers with elected/appointed officials, on all levels from local to federal, to discuss topics that affect economic development for Mississippi. The organization hosts educational and informational forums, summits, and other events to bring these individuals together. Topics addressed include healthcare, economic development tech and education, infrastructure, entrepreneurship, among others. The organization also hosts smaller events for the various committee members with senate and congressional staff members, MDOT officials, governor staffers, legislators, judiciary and other local and state elected/appointed officials.
It is vital to provide elected officials, particularly local elected officials with support to fuel continued success as it strives to implement a program of work, recruit business, and market Mississippi. By serving in this capacity, ReInvest Mississippi assists with moving vital projects from the drawing board to reality.
