Our role at ReInvest Mississippi is the role of the facilitator and conduit.  Because of the professional background of our team in government affairs, business, media, and hospitality we have developed the relationships needed to provide small businesses the counsel and assistance they need to succeed, while also providing a platform through our media ownership for  small businesses, large corporations to advertise and promote and have access to decision makers across the intersection of government and business. We are a solutions oriented organization focused on solving the problems of the people while also providing a strategy for investment and continued economic development in our state, a model that can be used around the country. 

Mission and Purpose

ReInvest Mississippi serves as a conduit for the flow of information between the private sector and the policy makers in local, state and federal government. We promote the general economic welfare and development of the State of Mississippi. Our organization aids and assists the state and local elected officials, with the promotion, internal marketing, education, transportation, employment and other common interests of commercial enterprises in Mississippi.

ReInvest Mississippi works in support of the business and entrepreneurial ecosystem for businesses both small and large for the benefit of the community by supporting and promoting business growth, capital investment, overall quality of life and other factors associated with economic development.

Strategy/Approach

ReInvest Mississippi serves as an important business development strategy that enhances investment opportunities that compliment tourism, lifestyle entertainment and prudent investment in Mississippi’s economy!

Through emphasizing the cultural economy, ReInvest Mississippi offers those with important linkages to Mississippi through heritage, inspiration and legacies, a unique opportunity to invest their human, financial and influential capital into Mississippi’s fertile land, people and communities that compliment Mississippi’s existing economic development vision.

Our strategy will focus on public/private relationships through innovative incentives such as, bonds, ad valorem tax exemptions, local industrial/commercial/residential development loans & financing that aid projects providing confidence, support and security to developers with vision, commitment and dedication to projects in the State of Mississippi.
