Our business started in May 2017 when we decided to bring our Raw Vegan Concept to the Yellow Green Farmers Market and started working in a proposal. July 15th was our opening and we had lots of success from that point on. A couple months later we brought green arepas for a day and we sold out in a matter of an hour which inspired us to do it again the next day in which we sold out again.
After weeks of selling out of arepas and not selling much more of the raw vegan menu, we decided to create a menu with more vegan arepas options. With the new menu, we doubled our sales and we never looked back. In January 2018, in an attempt to to have our restaurant name more in line with our products, we switched to Reina Vegana, which translates to Vegan Queen from Spanish.
