Our History
Our History
Reimar, in its present state, was founded on 27 July 2023 after the dissolution of the Republic of Miji and the Democratic Republic of Mormont [which was re-established by Bruhboi on 6 December 2023].
In August 2023, the first election was held and 3 opponents immediately presented themselves: Sadman Hussain, Sulav Chhetri and UltraRaptor. Hussain and Chhetri both dropped out, leaving UltraRaptor the sole candidate allowing him to score a victory, therefore becoming the first President of Reimar, he led Reimar to victory during the Red Storm Rebellion led by ex-Senator Sergej [14 September 2023], the 1 Month War [6 October-12 November 2023] and the Cummia-Liveria War [25 September 2023].
Throughout his Presidency, UltraRaptor introduced the Prison Act, the Slavery Act, and many others which significantly impacted Reimarian politics. UltraRaptor's presidency is sometimes referred to as The Raptorian Era (17 August 2023-3 January 2024).
On 3 January 2024, Seamus won the election. In an interview by the Reimar Times, Seamus's goals were to base Reimar more in the physical world and to expand it, helping attract new citizens while also working at the same time on the online sector. On 20 January 2024, Seamus had a mild case of abdication and abdicated, so his Vice President Bruhboi took over and immediately introduced a new coat of arms and an upgraded version of the flag aswell as a new civil flag. In March 2024, UltraRaptor was reelected, immediately, he began to enforce activity by passing a Monthly Tax ($500) and pass anti-corruption and anti-monopoly measures in many different nations, one of which was Reimar and it's closest ally, Qumar. Under UltraRaptor, the first court case in Reimarian history took place in May 2024, Astrove v. Bruhboi, upon the annual Support Tax being introduced, Astrove collected a sum of $200 from the Bruhboi Burger restaraunt, which Raptor Enterprises had already paid for, the forgetful Astrove forgot about this statement and took the sum of money needed to pay the taxes which prompted a response from Raptor Enterprises, who sued Astrove. electro presided over the case and ruled that Astrove pay the $200 back to Bruhboi, and that Astrove should have professional babysitters to make sure his dementia doesn't complicate affairs in other nations. In early June 2024, Astrove created the Space and Nuclear Programs (no, we do not intend to create real explosives) of Reimar as well as a company known as "Poeing", a parody of Boeing which is the official "brand" that makes the bottle rockets and other stuff related to the 2 programs.
On 6 June 2024, Reimar celebrated it's first year anniversary. On 19 June 2024, the CSXian Socialist Soviet Republic declared war, but it has so far been a stalemate. Raptor was reelected President in July 2024 and Reimar is taking part in the Fiverid Competition.
In August 2024, Bruhboi left Reimar, seemingly for good, invoking a state of shock in the Chancellor and the President.

Our Government
Our government is a "democratic dictatorship", led by a Chancellor whom is the Head of State, basically a dictator. A President of Reimar is elected by the people every 3 months. The President is responsible for awarding honors, granting pardons, filling all posts available in public service, and may also open and close legislative sessions.

On September 14th, 2023, the Social-Democratic Party of Reimar, led by then-Vice President and Senator Sergej, attempted to use legal loopholes to impeach President Raptor and overthrow the government to install a socialist government. Raptor immediately disposed of him from Vice President, Raptor and Bruhboi rallied people to have him voted out of the Senate which worked, he attempted to march on the capital city Pavleia and was immediately arrested, and then he fled Reimar.
This event helped Raptor gather more support in restricting Leftists and enforcing Article 3 of the Reimar Constitution.

Reimar and South Africa had begun an economic "war", a friendly rivalry to see which nation could build up their economy faster. Raptor chose to create the Propaganda contests during this time as well, a tradition (which continues to this day) of who could symbolize Reimar's core values of Freedom, Justice, and Anti-Communism.
Reimar was quickly pulling ahead, which wasn't helped with Michael developing a gambling addiction at the casino. This angered Michael, so, on October 6th 2023, Michael forcefully took over the nation. For a whole hour, now known as the Darkest Hour, Reimar remained under South African control, before the rebellion led by Raptor and Bruhboi made Michael get angry and give up, although not before doxxing Raptor. Raptor Enterprises pulled out all their businesses, which made up 90% of the South African economy, from South Africa and crippled them. The war lasted until November 12th 2023, a whole month of South Africa falling into more inactivity, poverty, and corruption, before Michael finally agreed to sign a treaty ending the war and allowing Reimar to come in and help the nation rebuild.
Reimarian - CSXian War (19 June 2024 - 2025)
After being arrested for distributing communist propaganda in the capital, he (CSX) declared war on Reimar, many nations immediately supported Reimar and the war has been at a standstill.
