'Reign of the Abyss' is a couch co-op game played in an isometric perspective. The game focuses on magic combat as well as melee combat depending on the character chosen from the vast selection the game has to offer.

The game is targeted to those who enjoy Diablo-style gameplay and those who have an interest in dark fantasy games such as Elden Ring and other dark fantasy media. The game is targeted to 15+.

The game will consist of lots of characters and each of these characters will belong to a respective faction and race and these will influence the type of magic the characters then hold. The magic will then influence the gameplay and will allow the user to have different experiences throughout.

Throughout the game the player will have to go up against different foes and eventually make their way towards the final boss 'Dain De'Lisi'.
