Under the Linking National and Regional Inequalities project, the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW Kiel) in collaboration with project members from Centre for Economic Performance at LSE, CUNEF Universidad, University of Oxford, University College London, University of Zagreb, Freie Universität Berlin, Banque de France, CY Cergy Paris University, and McGill University will organize an in-person conference on Regional Economic Inequalities at Kiel Institute's Berlin office on 3-4 September 2025.
We invite the submission of papers for presentation at the conference. We welcome contributions on all aspects of regional economic inequalities, including—but not limited to—topics such as their measurement, causes, and consequences; singlecountry and cross-country studies; and analyses related to both income and wealth.

Conference format The core group of the project will host this workshop and it will include presentations by selected participants and invited specialists over two days on 3 and 4 September 2025.
There is no registration fee. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer financial assistance to participants. Upon acceptance, you will be asked to book your travel and accommodation independently.
