Starting from September we all came a long way of knowing each other and finding each other's strengths and weaknesses.
Along the way we met so many new people and organisations such as Scouts, Youth Clubs, Middle Schools and Ministers.
Starting from just coming up with the idea to winning the meet the team video competion, fully prdouce and sell 500 books in 1 month, and winning the pitch battle, it has been a unforgettable journey.
Start-up Grind Pitch Battle Event.
The first event we attended as a team.
We are delighted to have St. Johns approving our first aid comic book.
We are also grateful for St. Johns for letting us film at the headquarters for our meet the team video, which ended up getting us first place.
With the help of St. Johns we were able to film our meet the team video, about the different director roles in Regeneraid.
Due to that, we won the competion out of all the Gibraltar young enterprise teams, with the reward being £100.
We are very thankful to Young Enterprise for letting us display our product in the product launch, and make new connections with business and other Young Enterprise teams.
On top of that we made many presales and met with Minister Cortes who gave us a powerful insight and ideas for our company.
Most excitingly in the product launch was Geo the Gecko's first apperance, and with his help being our main hero for our first aid comic book, we managed to attract many new customers.
We had the oppurtuntiy to donate a few of our books to The John Mackintosh Library to allow young readers to borrow and read our books.
To ensure medical accuracy, we also had the honour to meet with Sigurd Haveland where as the CEO of St. John and Gibraltar Ambulance he gave us corrections and approved our book.
GIBRALTAR SCOUTS
We also had the pleasure to give a talk in front of 120 middle school children and really describe our product with a little Geo the Gecko interaction.
During April we were kindly invited to compete in the startup grind pitch battle, where we first got to experience the competing young enterprise teams and presenting our product publically.
Thanks to our amazing 4 speakers that day, we managed to secure 1st place in the pitch battle and a prize of £200 pounds.
We are very thankful for startup grind for organising this event and letting the public see the hard work our team has put in from the beggining.
Throughout our journey, we organised many stalls across gibraltar such as ICC, Ocean village, World trade centre, Morrisons and Casemates, which were crucial in us selling our books so quickly!
We had the pleasure to meet with Minister Cortes where we exchanged powerful ideas and where he purchased 30 boomks in order to place them aroun middle schools in Gibraltar!
After winning the pitch battle, we had the honour to present our product in the GBC Radion which gave them powerful insight on how our business operates.
