For nearly four decades, my career in law enforcement and public service taught me a simple truth: good decisions come from transparency, teamwork, and respect for the people you serve. As a candidate for our Board, I’m not running to push an agenda—I’m running to ensure that The Meadows is governed with those same principles.
That’s why the concerns surrounding this lease matter so deeply.
This isn’t about personalities or politics. It’s about whether we, as a community, are being given the clarity, honesty, and involvement we deserve before entering into a long‑term agreement that affects our property values, our financial stability, and our ability to govern ourselves.
Here’s what I believe—and what I will stand for if elected:
We must protect residents from unnecessary financial risk. A lease of this magnitude should never move forward without clear, accessible explanations of costs, obligations, and long‑term impacts. If the numbers don’t add up—or if they’re not being shared—we need to pause.
We must insist on full transparency. Decisions that affect every homeowner should not be shaped behind closed doors. My entire career has been built on accountability, and I will bring that same expectation to our Board.
We must preserve community control. Once we sign a long‑term lease, we lose leverage. We should never lock ourselves into terms we didn’t help shape or fully understand.
We must explore better options—together. I’m not opposed to solutions. I’m opposed to rushed decisions that leave residents in the dark. With the expertise we have right here in The Meadows, we can evaluate alternatives openly and collaboratively.
To those who are still undecided: I understand your hesitation. You want facts, not fear. You want leadership that listens, not leadership that dictates. You want a Board that works for you—not around you.
That is exactly the kind of leadership I offer.
I’m asking for your support not because I have all the answers, but because I have the experience, integrity, and commitment to make sure we ask the right questions before making decisions that shape our future.
The Meadows deserves a process worthy of its people. Together, we can ensure that every resident is informed, respected, and included in the decisions that define our community.
