Facts NOT Fiction

The Meadows is facing a watershed moment in our history. What follows are the most significant issues upon which we believe you should cast your vote.

Flooding

The proposed Benderson Development contract threatens our stormwater management system. The pending UTC Independent Special District would grant unchecked authority and eminent domain rights / stormwater quantity and quality risks to The Meadows via eminent domain rights.

Financial

We believe there has been a culture of financial mismanagement of MCA finances. Since 2018, $18 million has been spent on leased MCA sports facilities, while $12 million has been spent on MCA non-sports assets. Assessments have increased 200% during this period($1.8mm to $5.85mm). Debt remains $5.3 million and reserves were depleted in 2018. NO plan exists to replace our reserves which are underfunded by over $5 million dollars. Fees, which are hidden additional assessments, are now being charged for recreational amenities, with NO Board vote. The 2026-27 MCA budget does not balance. The proposed land contract is grossly undervalued and gives away control of our land in perpetuity.

Fairness

We have witnessed a significant increase in disrespect of select residents and select Directors. We believe that all Directors and homeowners should be provided all the information which by law, is OUR information. No secrets. We want to reestablish the voting rights for the homeowners related to OUR coveted Open Spaces!

Vote for candidates who are PROBLEM SOLVERS  not rubber stampers.

Vote for candidates who want to DO SOMETHING not be somebody.

We will fight for YOUR rights; fight to PROTECT OUR OPEN SPACES; fight for ALL HOMEOWNERS, vote for real TRANSPARENCY and access to ALL information and Balance of Power for which we are legally entitled.
