Welcome to Reflect: Therapy Notes (“the App”), provided by Christian Altamura (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using this App, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the App

Reflect: Therapy Notes allows you to create, store, and access personal journal entries. Certain features, such as voice-to-text journaling, require access to your device’s microphone. By using these features, you grant the App permission to access your microphone to record and process audio for the sole purpose of creating journal entries. You must use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse or attempt to disrupt the App’s functionality.

2. Account and Data

To use certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

3. Data Collection and Storage

We collect the following types of information:

• Personal Data: Name, email address, and user-generated content (journal entries).

• Audio Data: If you utilize voice-to-text features, the App processes audio data via your device’s microphone. This audio is converted to text to populate your journal entries. Depending on your device settings, this processing may occur on-device or through third-party speech recognition providers.

• Non-Personal Data: General usage information for analytics and improvement.

Your data may be stored using cloud-based services for security and long-term access. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and materials within the App (excluding your own entries) are the property of Christian Altamura or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any journal entries or content you submit. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display your content solely for providing App functionality.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with U.S. law.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on our website, with the updated effective date.
