So ThreadBare I've Become
So ThreadBare I've Become
For years my mind has been plagues by this addiction -
My brain compelling it to scar the very body it is hardwired to protect
My body has become a living negative,
bearing the marks of wear as my flaws are exposed.
The imperfections of my humanity are on full display,
And I am unreveling.
So Threadbare I've become.
Yet I know hope remains.
The One who knows the depths of my soul so well is making me new,
weaving together every broken and scarred part of myself
that I've shrouded in shame
into a work of art for His glory.
