1. No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. Reels Blocker has no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics. Nothing about you or your usage is ever sent to us.
2. How the Accessibility Service Is Used
Reels Blocker uses Android's Accessibility Service, and only for one purpose: to recognise when a short-video player is on screen and to navigate away from it.
It reads on-screen content in memory only, to identify a Reels or Shorts player.
That content is never stored, never written to a file, and never transmitted anywhere.
It observes only the apps you have chosen to block — Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. It does not observe your other apps.
It does not read passwords, messages, or form input, and it does not record your screen.
The service performs only navigation actions — pressing Back, tapping the app's own Home or Feed tab, or returning you to your home screen.
3. Permissions
Accessibility Service — to detect and exit short-video players, as described above.
Internet / Network State — used only by Google Play Billing to process subscriptions. No other part of the app uses the network, and no screen content is ever sent over it.
4. Information Stored on Your Device
Reels Blocker saves a small amount of data locally, which never leaves your phone: which platforms you've chosen to block, whether optional detection logging is enabled, and a cached flag recording whether your subscription is active. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.
If you enable Detection logging in Settings, the app writes diagnostic messages to your device's own system log to help troubleshoot blocking. These stay on your device and are not sent to us. The setting is off by default.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Reels Blocker offers optional paid subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We never receive, see, or store your payment details, card number, or billing address — Google handles all of it. The app only receives confirmation of whether a subscription is active. Your purchase is governed by Google Play's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. You can view, manage, or cancel a subscription at any time in the Google Play Store.
6. No Account Required
You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use Reels Blocker.
7. No Ads or Third-Party Tracking
Reels Blocker contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
8. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Reels Blocker collects no personal data from users of any age.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
