Earlier Django-admin was just light-mode. Current Django-admin switches automatically to dark or light according to system theme. Well, I do not want this behaviour. I want Django-admin to be light theme irrespective of system theme.I am Not using 3rd party theme for Django-admin.

I tried commenting the code as shown here but does not work. I tried clearing cache and even tried switching browser but none of them seems to work. In browsers, I always prefer light theme. How can I achieve this? Any help is appreciable. Thanks in advance :)

Unfortunately at the moment there is no feature toggle for disabling this behavior (django 3.2). in order only to have the light theme, you should delete the entire block of @media (prefers-color-scheme: dark) code from django/contrib/admin/static/admin/css/base.css file. or you can disable prefers-color-scheme: dark from your browser rendering options. instructions for chrome are described in here

So I am a HUGE fan of the Streamlight 66608 MicroStream 250-Lumen EDC Ultra-Compact Flashlight. I carry one every day and have for a long time. Lights in general are going through a massive technological push. Companies like Modlite Systems and Cloud Defensive have forced the big boys like SureFire to step up their game.

I use these lights daily and always have one in my pocket. I got my first from a GLOCK Armorers course probably 10 years ago which was the original Streamlight Microstream and have always been looking for the same form factor with more lumens. Around 4 or 5 years ago Streamlight came out with the 66608 250 lumen model that has been the gold standard of Micro Lights since.

The Streamlight charges quick and you pull the front of the light housing over the body of the light to access the charging port which is micro USB. This sleeve as I will call it has a O ring at the bottom which is how they make it IPX4 water-resistant.

The Chicro just has a flap that in no way seems long for this world and is super cheap in compared to the Streamlight. Cloud does not discuss anywhere where I can if it has any IPX ratings. The Light does use USB-C which is awesome as my whole world is USB-C so in theory I could ditch the micro USB cable.

1) Ensure the battery is in the light with the positive terminal towards the light head.

2) Ensure the light is assembled.

3) Plug the USB-C cord into the light head.

4) Then click the tail cap switch. NOTE: YOU MUST CLICK THE SWITCH OR THE LIGHT WILL

NOT CHARGE. After clicking, the charge-indicator light should be solid-red, indicating

charge mode. When the light is charged, the charge indicator light will turn green.

5) Unplug from the USB-C and you are good to go.

This infuriates me. I rarely need the low power. Its nice to have, but rarely use it. So if you use the light at high power, then put it back in your pocket the next time you pull the light out to use it, its at low power. UNLESS you cycle it through, and then put it back in your pocket. If this was some crappy light you got for $15 at costco I could see putting up with the frustrations but not for $50.

At the end of the day this light is far less functional for me than the Streamlight. I kind of hate it and never use it anymore. It feels far cheaper than the Streamlight. The clicky tail cap is not as nice and slightly mushy. The clip is inferior, along with the bad throw, and brutal toggle of high and low. This light is a non-starter for me and I would think not worth your time.

I host my small project on pythonanywhere and after i host it i check if it is working and when i click the django admin, the theme of my django admin is dark and when i tried to run on my local host the theme is white so i tried to double check my static url and i think it is fine and btw this is my static url for my adminStatic Url: /static/admin, Static Directory: /home/k3v1nSocialProject/.virtualenvs/myprojenv/lib/python3.8/site-packages/django/contrib/admin/static/admin. Can someone explain to me what is happening and why is my django admin theme is dark?

The most powerful Micro handheld light. Ever. The Chicro admin light is lighthearted in name but serious in performance. When you purchase a Chicro, you get the light, battery, and charging cord. Everything you need in a small box.

With 350 Lumens of light, it will light up a dark room. And with a low-power setting as well, you can dial that back to 35 Lumens of light for all the up-close tasks where you do not want overpowering light.

I'm not sure if it is the right place to ask but it is quite hard to see information about staff member role. So regarding staff member, is there an available API calls for staff member role? similar to what agent or administrator can do with API token key. I look up the documentation but nothing said about staff member. Please let me know if you have any information.

We have the growth suite. I'm finding it very difficulty to see who is technically an agent and who isn't. When you search in people inside admin portal, it aggregates light agents, contributors, admins, etc and calls them all agents under their profile photo in the list. This is very confusing. Is the only way to know who is registered as an agent to go into their profile and check their permissions individually? Does an agent count as an agent across all platforms of the suite? (ie agent for guide but same person contributor for support counts as 1 agent ?).

I'd like to give access to all tickets to several Light Agents in our company. For full agents, I see how to do this in the admin center. However, for light agents, the same option does not seem to exist. I can only let them see tickets from their groups. This article suggests that allowing a light agent to see all tickets is possible. Can you please let me know how to do that?

Hey, everyone! I reached a point where I'm not sure if there's a possible solution or workaround.

It is common that agents proactively identify the need for a new macro and request the creation to an admin since they can only create individual ones.

That requires a certain amount of work outside of Zendesk: they'll usually create a doc file with the text they need, and share it with an admin who will then copy-paste it into a new macro and make it available for other users.

My point is, I do appreciate reviewing each macro before making it available, but the work to get it done could be simplified if, as an admin, I could access their personal macros and edit, or at least create a copy.

I don't seem to have access to it, so I tried to enable agents to create shared macros and I see here this is Enterprise only. Even so, that would have been a workaround, a full solution is the admin having access to all information, no exception. That kind of access wouldn't only facilitate macro creation but also allow some management over what agents are creating, I don't want them to be allowed to create and use an individual macro containing incorrect information, for example, and there's nothing I can do to prevent it.

We recently introduced the ability for admins to view and edit all macros in their account, including agents' personal macros, using the Zendesk API. Please see the announcement and Zendesk's API endpoint for macros for more information! There are plans to include this functionality in the Admin UI later this year.

This is a good theme. However I am getting an issue when loading the application i.e django. There is slight delay between transitions where the screen is blank/white. @Irfan came across this issue as well. How do I solve it?

We purchased your Hyper theme from the bootstrap themes website a few weeks ago. We successfully converted an internal administrative dashboard/tool to hyper, and found it great to work with. It resulted in a huge improvement in the appearance and clarity of the tool.

Hyper works reliably, and just the structure of the _variables.scss shows that a lot of thought went into creating nice, clean css. Highly recommended!

"The lighting industry is already embracing more energy efficient products, and this measure will accelerate progress to deliver the best products to American consumers and build a better and brighter future," Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said last year.

Under the rules, incandescent and similar halogen light bulbs will be prohibited in favor of light-emitting diode, or LED, alternatives. While U.S. households have increasingly switched to LED light bulbs since 2015, fewer than half of households reported using mostly or exclusively LEDs, according to the most recent results from the Residential Energy Consumption Survey.

Overall, 47% use mostly or only LEDs, 15% use mostly incandescent or halogens, and 12% use mostly or all compact fluorescent (CFL), with another 26% reporting no predominant bulb type, the federal data showed. In December, the DOE introduced separate rules banning CFL bulbs, paving the way for LEDs to be the only legal light bulbs to purchase.

"We believe that further regulatory interference in the marketplace is unwarranted given that more energy efficient lighting choices, namely light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs, are already available for those consumers who prefer them over incandescent bulbs," a coalition of free market and consumer groups opposed to incandescent bulb bans wrote in a comment letter to the DOE last year.

The DOE's rule in April 2022, meanwhile, reversed a Trump administration rule that sought to protect incandescent light bulbs and allow consumers to choose which products they want to purchase. Former President Donald Trump was also personally opposed to LED light bulb adoption, remarking in 2019 that they are often more expensive, not good and make him "look orange." 2351a5e196
