Every day has it's own theme. You can decide which days to use and in which order.
Day One is a Get to know you day!
Get to know you ice breakers and group activities.
Open up a whatsapp group for the duration of summer school - there will be links to send them.
Materials needed: sidewalk chalk, markers, lined paper, white A4 bristol board, pens, pencils, erasers, printing, xeroxing,
Quizlet- each day begins with a theme. There will be a Quizlet for the students to practice on at the beginning and the end of each day. Other vocabulary games can be used as well during this time, in addition to the Quizlet.
How to use Blooket
REED Reads Books App - On the first day, student should start the day by either bringing a reading book or choosing a library book from the library. They will need it every day. They should download the REED READS BOOKS App to their own phone.
Brain Break - A chance to get up and move and do some excersise in English.
Daily reading and writing activities - these are ready to download and print.
Daily listening and speaking activities - with links to share with students.
Treasure Hunt - Time to get out and about around the school
