How Joining RSi Works

Unlike many Arma teams or "clans", joining Red Sector Inc is a process. Not everyone who fills out the application is accepted. We want to be sure not only are you a good fit for us, but we a good fit for you. Our team is close knit and rather small. Everyone has an equal voice.

So here's how to get started.

Step One: The Applicant

Fill out the application on this website. It will tell us a bit more about you and your Arma3 background. Players must be 18 or older. Our members range from their 20's, into their 50's. We come here to enjoy Arma in a controlled environment, rather than play with children on a public server.

Step two: The Candidate

If everything looks good on the application we'll contact you, get you added in Steam and send you all the information you'll need to join a game. You've then entered what is called the Candidate Phase. As an RSi Candidate, this is your time to shine. Show us you're a player who can get along with everyone, show us you have a desire to play Arma as a team. Show us you are trustworthy and are an asset. NOWHERE in our Candidate requirements is it required you be a high level Arma player. Don't worry, we can make you better if you're new to the game. The Candidate phase has no set time limit but could last a couple months as we want to see the real you. We also want to see if you're going to stick around or vanish like a ghost. Your roll as a candidate is NOT to tell us how to play the game. If it seems we're not playing arma the way you like, odds are your time with RSi will end here.

Step three: The Active Member

If all goes well, for us and you, the active members of Red Sector Inc will discuss your participation and character. We will take a vote. A single "No Vote" eliminates a candidate from full member consideration. Every active member of RSi must enjoy playing with every new player. If the yes vote is unanimous, you are notified and awarded active member status! Congratulations, you'll have earned it. With active member comes more power and responsibility. You will have a voice on the direction of the team, you'll have a vote on new members, you can contribute missions for the team to play and have admin level control. You'll have an ArmA3 home!
