General Policies
Prerequisites: Participants must complete all prerequisites prior to showing up for the class. Participants with incomplete prerequisites may not be admitted to the class and may be considered a no-show. Participants agree to read the Participant Checklist prior to registering for or attending any courses.
Punctuality: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals (10+ minutes) may not be admitted and may be considered a no-show.
Physical Requirements: Each participant in any class involving CPR must be physically capable of independently kneeling, standing, and performing high-quality chest compressions. Participants can expect to be on their knees for an extended period of time throughout the course instruction. Performing high-quality CPR requires strength and good physical health; it could be physically challenging for some students.
Certification: The course certification is issued only upon successful completion of the course, including skills assessments and exams as applicable. ARC and HSI certificates are typically issued the day of the in-person course but may take up to 5 business days to process. AHA eCards are typically issued within 1 business day of course completion but may take up to 5 business days to process.
Questions and clarifications regarding these terms should be recorded on the Contact Form.
Refund Policy
>48 Hours Prior to Course Start: Full Refund of course fees. Participant-driven cancellations made 48 hours or greater before the course start time AND/OR instructor-driven cancellations are eligible for a full refund of the cost paid to the training center.
24-48 Hours Prior to Course Start: 50% Refund of course fees.

In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, the instructor has the final right to refuse service to any registrant or participant. In the event that services have already been provided and service is refused, no refunds will be issued; otherwise, a full refund less any payment processing fees will be issued.
Rescheduling Policy
At our sole discretion, participants may request to reschedule a course/session without forfeiting their registration fee. This must be done in advance of the course; no-shows will be handled in accordance with the No-Show Policy below.
Generally, participant-requested rescheduling to the next scheduled offering of the same course will not incur any fees.
Participant-requested rescheduling to a custom date/time (i.e., to a date/time where another course is not already being offered) may incur a rescheduling fee.
In all cases, if the instructor must cancel a class in accordance with the Cancellation Policy below, no rescheduling fees will be assessed.
Cancellation Policy
Student cancellations will be processed in accordance with the refund policy above. The instructor may grant exceptions due to special circumstances.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing using the Contact Form or similar means.
The instructor reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by the instructor, participants may choose between a full refund or rescheduling to a later date.
No-Show Policy
Participants who no-show without prior notice forfeit their registration fee.
Additional Products
Any products such as pocket masks or student manuals purchased in addition to course fees are non-refundable unless refused upon receipt in their original, unopened, unused condition, in which case a full refund minus a 5% payment processing fee will be issued.
