Becca Schroeder, PTO President

Becca is passionate about building a school community where every student and family feels supported, connected, and heard. As the mother of a child with autism, school involvement and inclusion are especially close to her heart.

With a Master’s degree in Social Work, advocacy has always been at the center of Becca’s work and service. She brings years of nonprofit leadership experience as a founder and Executive Director, as well as previous experience serving as President of JELV’s PTO. Becca is passionate about using her experience to advocate for students and families, support Red Oak’s incredible teachers and staff, and create meaningful opportunities for every family to have a voice and get involved.

Ashley Truman, PTO Vice President

Ashley is a married mom of two with a heart for service, advocacy, and community. Her youngest son, Nathan, is autistic and inspired her pageant platform, “Helping the Sick and the Special,” which reflects her passion for supporting and advocating for others.

Ashley is no stranger to PTO leadership! She previously served as President of the JELV PTO for two years and is excited to bring that experience to Red Oak while helping create a welcoming, inclusive school community for every student and family.

Whether she’s supporting families, serving her community, or lending her talents to the PTO, Ashley lives to lead, help and inspire.
