Ashlei English  President

Hi! My name is Ashlei English.  I am honored to serve as the PTO President this school year.   

My husband, Brad, and I have two children: Ella (age 14) and Abe (age 12).  We have been a part of the Redland Community for 10 years and love ALL things Redland!  I work part-time in healthcare and also enjoy working as a substitute teacher for our local schools. 

I look forward to another wonderful year of serving the students, teachers, and staff of RMS.  Please say "HI" if you see me in the halls!

Tawny Wyatt Vice President

Hey there! My name is Tawny Wyatt, and I am your Events Chair this year. 

My husband, Jonathan, and I have three boys: Luke Rylan (15), and twins, Easton and Austin (10). I work for Baptist Health, and we have loved Redland for 14 years now. 

I LOVE to decorate and plan, and I’m so excited to serve on this year’s PTO to help make it a memorable one for our children!

Shay Forbus Secretary

Hi! My name is Shay and I serve on RMS PTO in the Secretary role. 

I am originally from Montgomery, AL but have lived in the Redland Community for 11 years. My husband Josh and I have 2 daughters: Carly, 11th grade and Callie, 8th grade. Before becoming a stay at home mom I worked for 16 years in the insurance industry and 2 years in church administration.

This is my third year serving on the PTO board at RMS. I started attending PTO meetings over 9 years ago. Right away I found it was a great way to connect with parents and staff.  It is wonderful to see parents and teachers work together to make decisions that will enhance the school experience for everyone. Laura Dorsey Treasurer

Hi! I'm Laura Dorsey, and I'm excited to serve as PTO Treasurer.

A little about me—I am married to Joseph, and we have two children, Lizzie Kate (11) and JC (6). I work full-time as a physical therapist and clinical educator in home health, and when I'm not working, our family stays busy with school activities, sports, church involvement and running my small business.

 I look forward to working alongside our amazing parents, teachers, and staff this year! 😊

Heather Burge  Volunteers/Membership Coordinator

Hi! My name is Heather Burge and I am honored to be able to serve on the RMS PTO Board! 

I am married to Jason, and we have two children: Blake (age 11) and Hadley Kate (age 7). We have lived in Redland going on ten years and absolutely love this community! 

I am so excited for the 2026-2027 school year and helping to make RMS the best that it can be!

Katrina Welborn Fundraising Co-Chair

Hello! My name is Katrina Wellborn, and I excited to serve as this year's Fundraising chair at RMS.  My husband Chris and I have two amazing children - Lillian (16) and Zoe (11)- who keep us very busy.  We've loved calling Redland home since 2018. By day, I'm the Community Training Coordinator for the Alabama Parent Education Center, where I have the privilege of supporting families of children with disabilities across the State. Outside of that, our family stays busy with Smokin' Wells BBQ, the food truck My husband owns and operates.

I'm looking forward to a fantastic year working alongside our wonderful RMS students, families, and staff to make great things happen!

Jane Claire Carter Fundraising Co-Chair

Hello, I'm Jane Claire Carter.  I've served for the past 5 years on the PTO for RES, and I'm looking forward to serving the students,  teachers, and staff at RMS. I'm an IT Project Manager, and enjoy spending time with my husband, Brent, and our two children, Evelyn, and Hamilton.  I'm looking forward to a great year at RMS!
