Applying for a DBS check to work with our young people
To apply for a DBS check you must have:
Made contact with the Children's coordinator and arranged a taster session ( click here to complete this stage )
Attended a taster session and requested a reference ( click here to complete this stage )
Ready to apply ( for all applicants )
Stage 1: Complete the self declaration form.
Please note: This form gives permission for a DBS check be made. Your application will not be processed until receipt of this form
Stage 2: Open the applicant's guide Watch the video below and then using the organisation reference and code below, complete your online application. ( link on page 3 of the guide )

Stage 3: What happens next ?
The safeguarding officer will process your application. As part of this process, your Identification documents will need to be verified.Â
The safeguarding officer will make contact with you shortly to arrange this step in the process
Stage 4: Final step
You will need to complete the basic safeguarding training before joining a rota. To complete this, click here.
