Registration will begin at 8:45 am. Crews will gather at a designated spot in the Narthex. At 9:00 am, they will be dismissed to go to the Sanctuary for the Sing & Play Lagoon Opening.
At 9:15 am, the Crew Leaders will lead their crews to their first station. The station meets for 20 minutes before the crews go to the next station.
Stations:
Sing & Play Lagoon Opening-9:00 am - 9:15 am: The crews will see a skit with Dr. Flutterby, a Rainforest Falls Butterfly, and the Leader. The skit will help the children grasp the Bible Point for the day. The Leader introduces the Bible Point and Bible Memory Buddy each day. Each day, the children sing the theme song, "God Is," a celebration of God's unfathomable nature. In addition, they sing at least one song that specifically ties to that day's Bible Point.
Rooted Bible Adventures: The Leader repeats the Bible Point each day. The children will experience the daily Bible Story in a way that engages them physically and emotionally.
Crafts: The Leader repeats the Bible Point each day. The children will create a craft that is related to the day's Bible Point.
Exploration: The Leader repeats the Bible Point each day. The PreK and K crews will attend this station. The children will do hands-on science activities that relate to the day's Bible Point.
Imagination: The Leader repeats the Bible Point each day. The Grades 1 - 6 crews will attend this station. The children will do hands-on science activities that relate to the day's Bible Point.
Music: The Leader repeats the Bible Point each day. The children will sing the theme song and the songs tied to the Bible Point.
Treetop Treats: Each day's snack experience connects to the Bible Point. After the crews are done eating, they will participate in a low-energy game.
Wild Games: The Leader repeats the Bible Point each day. The children will play games that connect with the daily Bible Point. Each day, they will play a medium- and a high-energy level game.
Canopy Closing-11:50 am - Noon: The Leader repeats the Bible Point each day. They will sing songs that they learned that day, including the theme song. The leader will use drama experiences and engaging object lessons to help the children apply what they have learned throughout the day.
