Reddy's Retreat was established March 10th, 1953 by linemen to be a place where fellow linemen can spend time with their families. It is a paid membership club with 24 hour access to a boat ramp, restrooms with showers, kitchen, and dock. Members can book private events or just stop by for a relaxing day on the beautiful Lake Tarpon. Originally purchased for a mere $12,000 the yearly taxes are now nearly that much. Reddy's is in the process of achieving nonprofit status which will allow funds to be redirected for repairs and property maintenance.

Reddy's is also available to be rented by non-member organizations and community members for non-profit events. Any member may visit on a first come, first serve basis. If Reddy's has been booked for an event, the main building with a kitchen is available to the booking party only.

Non-Members

Non-members may book for non-profit events. Reddy's has hosted girl/boy scout events, church events and celebrations of life as well as events for the fire departments and military. Please see our booking and renting page by clicking the booking and renting tab on the menu.
