Season 4 starting soon - All players must register!
Anyone who has PinballFX3 and required tables on the following platforms, Xbox, PS4, PC/Steam & Switch.
Android players aren't supported.
This league was made to bring the Reddit PinballFX3 community together, for a bit of fun and competition so the league and point system is only for people registered with their Reddit usernames.
That doesn't stop you from playing but be aware that your scores will not count. They will be recorded just with a minus in front of them to keep them off of the league table. This does mean you can change your mind and decide to register afterwards and your scores will be enabled. Obviously you can only do this before the final round.
First of all ensure your Reddit username has been submitted by going to the 'Submit username' form further down this page - (if you've played in previous seasons skip this step)
Look for the current round details where it will give you a name, password and other details, found either in the Reddit post or on the front page of this site.
Launch PinballFX3 and go to the tournament section and look for the tournament that matches the details. If you can't find it use the filters in game to narrow it down. (Using the permissions filter often helps)
Play!
Once the tournament is over I take screenshots of the leaderboard and then insert the scores into the spreadsheet. A day or two later I will post the results and details of the next round
I use a formula that gives the top 50 players in each round a predefined point. The points go sequentially, except for the top 3 who get 60,55 and 50.

From position 5 to 50 the scores go down sequentially until 1, with those beyond 50th position getting 0
The number of grace rounds in a season means you can miss out on that many rounds and not be penalised too much. This is because a commitment to play each round can be difficult for some. If you were to miss one round due to internet issues, work, life etc you would have no chance of catching up other players.
How this works is, in a season with 6 rounds but only 5 counted rounds you have a grace round of 1. Only the top 5 of your rankings will go toward your point total.
For example, in a 6 round season with 1 grace round, you can miss one round, or you can play them all and it will only count your best games.
If I finish a season with 10pts (R1), 15pts (R2), 3pts (R3), 30pts (R4), 25pts (R5) & 5pts (R6)
Only the top 5 of those will be counted toward your final ranking. The lowest will be ignored, in the above example that would be Round 3, where I got 3pts.
It is very simple but for some reason hard to explain... if you have a better way of explaining it please contact me!
What are 'grace' & counted rounds?
Yes! The spreadsheet is quite detailed and has a few ways of showing players scores. Go to the spreadsheet page and have a look! Don't worry you can't break anything!
I do have the data for the previous seasons but due to how I used to use the sheet some details were lost while I was figuring out how to use it. I will try to put the old sheets up on here, eventually... But it isn't really a priority.
