The issue only arises when a 3.5mm is plugged into the speaker. It (the other end of the 3.5mm) doesn't even need to be connected to anything (though it keeps ringing even when plugged in to pc, phone, etc). I can have the power plugged in and the speaker turned on, without an audio input and there's no ringing. As soon as i plug in a 3.5mm jack it starts ringing. It's like it detects the existence of something plugged in and immediately starts freaking out.

Now, I've embarked on a journey into electronic music production using Ableton, and it's been an absolute blast. However, I'm keen to explore audio post-production and take my skills to the next level. Any advice on how to get started and where to practice would be greatly appreciated!

Along the way I email and try to connect with every studio and venue that I think would help me in the Petaluma, Rohnert Park, or Santa Rosa area and anything within 15 miles (maybe Napa if I find something I love as it's a larger town), and work likely for free or cheap just to get in the building and working next to their audio team.

Despite this, I have never ever seen another that expresses that this plan is a good one, much less even possible. I simply want to live my life in audio, sound, and music. If that is involved in Video games, TV, or Corporate events I don't care (And sound like great jobs to me), but if the only option to even have a chance is to move to Nashville, live off of ramen for 6 years, and break my back just to barely make a living, I absolutely prioritize my health, my family relationships, and the prospect of having humble financial independence over my passion, unfortunately, no matter how passionate I am.

tl;dr I'm not stupid, I'm not a genius, and I love working with audio and really want to my whole life, but don't want to sacrifice for my passion any chances at living a normal, financially independent, middle-class life.

Is anyone else having horrendously mixed and positioned audio in games? I updated the game this afternoon and hopped on, and now it's just borderline broken? I'd rather be deaf than misled like this.

"This is happening because in this patch, a new system was implemented to help players that didn't have the software or hardware capable of using 3D audio, but now it's overlapping with third party software, and our experts are currently investigating the situation to fix it as soon as possible."

I have watched several tutorials and read more online to try to figure out why this is not working for me. I think I'm following all the steps and am at a loss. I've embedded audio and video before, but not to play across slides. The audio starts on the beginning slide, but when I click anywhere (in the same slide or on next slide), the audio stops. I need to finish this ppt tonight, so I would be so appreciative of some help and guidance.

Hi everyone, I desperately need Citrix to work or I fear I'm going to be unemployed for the Holidays. Basically, when I got into Citrix it won't play any audio. On my personal computer in the sound settings, I have my headphones hooked up to "Speakers (2- USB Audio device)" and my microphone is hooked up as "Microphone (2-USB Audio device)". When I go into Citrix and go into the sound settings the only options I have are "Speakers (Citrix HDX Audio)" and for the Microphone, I have multiple options, but all of them still end with "(Citrix HDX Audio)". I need them to have the same set up as my personal desktop, someone please help!

am i the only one to notice that the audio become too quiet? i played yesterday and my audio was perfect personally speaking, but now the audio is messed up, i can't hear dialogue even if it 100%, and things that are usually quiet are so loud now. i can't seem to find a new sweet spot with my audio setting. cant enjoy STW dialogue

Connect Bluetooth earphones > audio sounds fine with everything > open OBS > audio DB is increased, audio quality is decreased and you can almost hear an echo > disconnect and connect earphones > audio still sucks > closes OBS > reconnects > audio is back to normal

Sound comes out with the same microphone option selected, but with other audio sources (monitor speaker through USB C, laptop's speaker, or hands-free headset). Looks like the issue affects the bluetooth option only.

I think the above works likely because Teams now prioritizes hands-free audio option when both hands-free and stereo are available. When the hands-free option is disabled, it resorts to the stereo option. Hope this helps!

At first everything is fine. I add the track, can move it around and the volume is ok. Then I continue to edit the video and at some point (always different, thus my confusion) my audio track goes silent. I can see the track still in the editor, just cant hear anything. Tried turning the volume up to 400, still no sound. It is not muted either. You can see the wave forms on the audio bar are basically flat.

Upload your audio for free, even without signing up if you just want to share something quickly. Please check it out, share with friends and give some feedback. I want to make this the best way to share audio :)

I've programmed some drums using a drum rack but I'm wondering how to convert the midi drums to audio and also is this what you are meant to do or can you keep them as midi tracks in your mix? ( I just don't think the drums sound as good as midi )

[PC] I've tried EVERYTING when it comes to fixing my chrome audio. Everything else works apart from chrome. But I FINALLY fixed it. All you have to do is "*Open sound settings*", scroll down to "*Advanced sound options*" and click "*App volume and device preferences*". Click reset all at the bottom and it should be fixed. First chrome wasn't there, but later showed up whenever I reset it.

I'm setting the volume level in a video I'm making and I usually have my master volume at around 40 and was wondering what would be the general audio level you'd use as to know make it too quiet or loud for other people watching it ff782bc1db
