Elections occur every 3 months. Available positions are Prime Minister, Second Minister, Minister of Foreign affairs, Minister of Defense, Legislature, and Governor
The Prime Minister of RedCliff is the head of state and government. The prime minister has the power appoint and dismiss Ministers, call in elections within constitutional limitations and vote on laws or propose laws. They serve 5 week terms before an election. If they win the elections they get to stay in office another 5 weeks. As of now, the current Prime Minister is Mothem.
The Second Minister manages and reviews laws before they are presented to the Prime Minister. They help check current or proposed laws to see if they violate the constitution. They serve 5 week terms before an election. If they win the elections they get to stay in office another 5 weeks.
The Legislative branch is composed of 2 legislators per state. Legislators can vote, create, discuss and change laws. A regional law can be proposed through a Legislature, or a citizens council. The governor must approve the law for it to take effect.
The Minister of foreign affairs works alongside the the Prime Minister and Second Minister to handle affairs with foreign nations.
The Minister of Defense helps handles foreign affairs. They are responsible for the military and national defense. They manage the defense budget and participate in military treaties.
The Minister of Law is responsible for managing the legal systems of the country. They help draft legal bills and ensure all government actions follow the nations constitution.
The governor is head of the states. They can enforce national laws, and help carry out regional rules. They help recruit new citizens or approve regional laws presented from a Legislature or Citizens council.
