About REDCap
The AHEAD Institute offers a free turn-key web-based research survey and data management application and infrastructure that provides secure data capture for research studies and the ability to invite survey participants external to SLU.
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases. While REDCap can be used to collect virtually any type of data, it is specifically geared to support data capture for research studies. Mission
The goal is simple: to have a single up-to-date instance of REDCap. At the AHEAD Institute we recognized a need to enhance SLU's REDCap environment to give researchers a more current version of REDCap that would allow for expanded research capabilities. It is for this reason, we are working with SLU ITS to combine redcap.slu.edu and aws-redcap.slu.edu into a single REDCap platform (redcapsurvey.slu.edu) accessible to SLU and partnering researchers. The new website - redcapsurvey.slu.edu - will go live on July 20th, 2021.
On the date of July 20th, redcapsurvey.slu.edu will contain all data previously entered into aws-redcap.slu.edu and will be the go-to site for creating new REDCap projects.
At a date to be named later, active project data from redcap.slu.edu will be migrated into redcapsurvey.slu.edu.

Description: redcap.slu.edu is accessible through MySLU tools. This instance of REDCap was created several years ago and is no longer being updated. This instance does not allow for new projects. It is referred to as "On Premises" due to the fact that it runs on a server maintained at SLU by SLU ITS.
