Are you considering a firearm for self-defense, sport shooting or hunting?
Thinking about personal safety in light of... everything?
Would you like to get your Colorado Concealed Carry Permit (CCW), recognized in 33 states?
Perhaps you've inherited or already own a firearm and would like to learn how to use it, maintain it and store it safely, or upgrade your skills?
Do you live or work where other people carry firearms, and it makes you uncomfortable or causes you anxiety?
Are you ready to use knowledge and training to overcome your fear?
Or maybe you just want to explore the shooting sports in a safe, private, welcoming environment?
Safety is my #1 priority, full stop. Classes and live fire are strictly managed and carefully structured to ensure your safety and mine. When you leave you will have a full understanding of safe handling, operation and storage of firearms and defensive tools. You will learn that there are no firearm "accidents"; it is negligent and ignorant handling that permit injuries to happen. Negligence and ignorance are mitigated with knowledge and training.
Let's shoot straight: gun culture in America isn't very friendly to a lot of people. Going to a range or gun store you don't know can feel like your identity, your appearance or your beliefs could bring you into conflict. No one can learn effectively in that kind of environment. Training with firearms requires knowing you are safe, the freedom to focus and learn without distraction, and supportive instruction from an inclusive welcoming professional.
All people of good will are welcome in my classes and no discourtesy is tolerated. LGBTQ+, BIPOC, women, people with disabilities and/or who need accommodations, people with post-trauma syndrome and abuse survivors, people from marginalized and targeted communities: we ALL have a right to armed self-defense, and to learn and enjoy the shooting sports.
You are welcome and you are safe here.
