20 years experience as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist in a busy general practice providing direct patient care for acute and chronic health problems, medicines management input, training, audit, clinical IT support, and service design support
Clinical commissioning support for ambulance commissioning, including 999, NHS 111 and patient transport services
Clinical leadership for NHS England as a Clinical Advisor for Urgent and Emergency Care covering the North West of England
10 years previous experience in a GP Out of Hours service completing episodes of care through telephone triage assessment and ongoing support to clinical governance
Clinical mentor in the Lancashire area for the CPPE General Practice Pharmacist Training Programme
Course design and delivery support to a number of academic institutions, including Liverpool John Moores University
Previously a trainer and author for the former National Prescribing Centre, now the Medicines and Prescribing Centre at NICE
Previous PCT pharmaceutical adviser, hospital and community pharmacist
