Users are able to scan their receipts from the grocery store. Once the receipt is scanned, users are directed to a chart that displays the equivalent carbon emissions of the product’s packaging if it were to be disposed of in a landfill. There is also a tab that educates users on what can be recycled and what cannot be recycled. The tab is also able to provide a list of waste facilities in a nearby area so users are able to divert their waste from landfills.
