Additionally, users can compare the amount of recycled waste with the corresponding reduction in carbon dioxide emissions (kgCO2e), which is equivalent to the number of trees that could be planted for environmental benefit.

e.g. flexible plastic 1 kg.= 2.5 points while HDPE milk carton 1 kg. = 4.0 points.
