I love woodwork. I make kitchen boards and other projects using recycled or repurposed wood.  Each board is unique and is different on each side.  I have a wonderful NDIS mentor, Gerry, who is my inspiration and has taught me all I know. I make my boards with his guidance.

I make:

Novelty boards -   fun-shaped boards for serving cheeses and charcuterie usually made from repurposed floorboards.  I love animals so most are animal-shaped. 

Pizza boards - usually made from repurposed floorboards. Pizza is my favourite food and one of my nicknames is Pizza Terminator.

Cheese boards - have a handle, one side is food graded and the other is often less finished to give them character and so you can see what the wood liked before I worked on it. These boards are made from pieces of wood salvaged from a sawmill's offcuts. Each board is unique.and dictated by the piece of wood.

The natural or nail removal voids in my boards are filled with resin. All the boards are finished with food-grade mineral oil and buffed wax.
