So, for the last couple of years, I've been seeing all of this amazing content in the Highway 99 group about the Ridge Route, but it is half a continent away from me and, as far as structuring web pages, I was pretty lost. Today, though, I found Sydney Croasmun's amazing website, and by borrowing her structure (and linking to a ton of her quality content!), I can start to make sense of this section of the old highway.

That's the only way projects like this can really work. We can't all be off rebuilding the wheel for each and every old road, instead we need to share, celebrate, and rely on other folk's quality work documenting these old highways. We need to build on each other, share, and praise each other's work!

I do hope to get down to the Ridge Route in the next year or two to add my own content to the conversation, but until then, I need to rely on others to flesh out this portion of the old Pacific Highway and the Historic Highways of the West.
