RECPAD invites you to submit two-page extended abstracts reporting on research and recent developments in Pattern Recognition. While novelty is not required, proper citations must be included in the paper.

Abstracts must be no longer than two pages, including all results, figures, tables and references. Submissions must follow one of the formatting guidelines:

• MS Word Template

• LaTeX Template

Instructions for poster presentation:

• Posters should be (up to) A0 format, with vertical (portrait) orientation (841 mm width x 1189 mm height).

• Each poster will be assigned to a poster session. Posters must be displayed at the start of the assigned session. Materials for mounting will be provided.

• One of the authors should be near the poster to interact with attendees during the session.

• The Best Poster Award will be decided based on content and interaction with the participants.

Instructions for oral presentation:

• Authors of the 4 papers allocated to the oral session will have a 10-minute slot for presentation plus 5 minutes for questions.

• Presenters are required to use their own laptop via HDMI (no adapters are available and make sure to bring one, if needed). It is advisable to test the setup in advance - during registration, just before or after lunch, or during a coffee break.

• The Best Paper Award will be decided based on content, quality of presentation and discussion with the audience.
