Privacy Policy — HuntTrail

1. Introduction
HuntTrail ("we", "us", "our", or the "App") is a hunting field toolkit developed by Veysel Yeşilmen ("Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, why it is processed, and how it is protected.
2. Information We Process
HuntTrail is designed to operate primarily on-device. We do not require account creation, and we do not directly collect personal information. The sections below describe the limited data the App processes to provide its features.
2.1 Location Data
The App accesses your device location only while the App is in use, and only after you grant the “When In Use” location permission.
Location data is used to:
- Center the in-app map on your current position
- Record optional waypoints such as “Shot,” “First Blood,” and “Last Blood” that you manually place
- Display heading and distance information relative to saved waypoints
- Fetch local weather and wind information for your current area
Waypoints and saved map data are stored locally on your device only. They are not transmitted to our servers.
You may revoke location access at any time through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → HuntTrail.
2.2 Camera
The App accesses your device camera only when you open the Track Lens feature and grant camera permission.
The live camera feed is processed in real time on your device to provide visual filtering tools that may help improve contrast for field signs, tracks, and color differences in the environment.
We do not capture photos, record videos, or transmit camera frames to any external server. Camera frames are processed locally and discarded immediately after use.
Camera access may be revoked at any time in your device settings.
2.3 Weather Data
The App may use your approximate latitude and longitude to fetch current weather and wind information from OpenWeatherMap.
This request is used only to display weather conditions inside the App. We do not store weather request history on our servers.

2.4 Purchase Data
All subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed directly by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
Subscription validation and feature unlocking are handled through App Store receipts.
We use AppActor, a third-party subscription analytics and validation SDK, to verify subscription status and manage access to premium features. AppActor may receive:
- An anonymous app user identifier
- Subscription status information
- Receipt validation data
- Basic technical information needed to operate purchase validation
AppActor does not receive your name, email address, or payment card details from us.
2.5 Map Tiles
The Hunt Map feature uses third-party map tile providers such as OpenStreetMap, CARTO, and Esri.
When loading map tiles, your device IP address and user-agent string may be visible to those tile providers as part of standard internet communication.

2.6 Diagnostic Data
If you use the in-app “Contact Us” feature, your email application may open a pre-filled support email containing:
- App version
- Build number
- Operating system name and version
The email is not sent automatically. You choose whether or not to send it.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
HuntTrail does not collect or store:
- Personal identifiers such as your name, address, phone number, or email address, unless you voluntarily contact us
- Contacts or calendar data
- Photos or photo library content
- Microphone audio recordings
- Advertising identifiers, including IDFA
- Background location data
- Health, fitness, or biometric information
4. Tracking
HuntTrail does not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking technologies.
We do not track users across third-party apps or websites within the meaning of Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. The App does not display third-party advertisements.
5. Children’s Privacy
HuntTrail is not directed toward children under the age of 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
6. Data Retention
Waypoints, settings, and other saved App data remain stored locally on your device until deleted by you or until the App is uninstalled.
We do not maintain server-side copies of your locally stored waypoints or field data.
7. Your Rights
Because HuntTrail does not create user accounts or collect personal information on our servers, there is generally no account-based personal data for us to access, modify, or delete.
You may erase locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.

8. International Users
HuntTrail is provided worldwide on an “as is” basis. By using the App, you acknowledge that locally stored App data remains on your device unless you delete it or uninstall the App.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
