ElectroHydroDynamic [EHD] atomization is a low power atomization method, that utilizes electricity to generate tiny droplets. The process therefore can be controlled and monitored digitally.
Droplets are very consistent in size following the scaling laws and can be "programmed" from nano-meters up to a few microns.
With this technology in our hands we can prepare encapsulations and particles custom fit to the application.
We are currently focusing on eco-friendly self healing coating additives, that can have a direct impact in human infastructure while fullfilling our vision for a sustainable future.
The same setup is capable of creating granular depositions of dendritic structures, continuous films or fibers.
