1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how RecordRadio handles information when you use the RecordRadio Android application.
RecordRadio allows users to record supported application audio, manage recordings, edit tracks, organize tracks, and optionally synchronize recordings with a Microsoft OneDrive account.
By using RecordRadio, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information processed by RecordRadio
RecordRadio may process the following information:
Google account information
RecordRadio requires Google Sign-In.
When you sign in, RecordRadio may process:
- your Google account email address;
- your Google account display name;
- your Google account profile identifier;
- authentication information required to confirm that you are signed in.
RecordRadio does not receive or store your Google account password.
Audio recordings
RecordRadio creates audio recordings only after you manually start a recording and approve the required Android system permissions.
Audio recordings may include:
- recorded application audio;
- track names;
- recording dates and times;
- track duration;
- playlists;
- favourites;
- highlights;
- editing information;
- original recording backups created for the Restore to original feature.
By default, recordings are stored locally on your device.
MasterStudio does not automatically receive copies of your recordings.
Application and recording metadata
RecordRadio may store information required for app functionality, including:
- app settings;
- recording preferences;
- selected recording application;
- track identifiers;
- filenames;
- playlists;
- sort preferences;
- continuous-recording preferences;
- selected storage location;
- synchronization status;
- selected OneDrive folder identifiers.
Microsoft OneDrive information
If the optional Microsoft OneDrive feature is available and you choose to connect it, RecordRadio may process:
- your Microsoft account identifier;
- the name of the connected Microsoft account;
- OneDrive drive identifiers;
- selected OneDrive folder identifiers;
- folder paths;
- file identifiers;
- synchronization status.
RecordRadio may access the OneDrive folder selected by you to upload, download, restore, or synchronize RecordRadio files.
RecordRadio does not receive or store your Microsoft account password.
Recordings uploaded to OneDrive are stored in your own Microsoft OneDrive account and are subject to Microsoft’s privacy policy and terms.
Technical information
Google Play and Android may provide technical information such as:
- device model;
- Android version;
- application version;
- crash information;
- diagnostic information;
- installation information.
This information may be used to diagnose technical problems and improve application stability.
3. How information is used
RecordRadio uses information only for purposes such as:
- authenticating the user;
- providing the RecordRadio application;
- creating and managing recordings;
- editing and restoring recordings;
- remembering application settings;
- organizing playlists and tracks;
- providing continuous segmented recording;
- connecting to the user’s selected OneDrive folder;
- uploading and downloading user-selected files;
- synchronizing recordings between the user’s devices;
- preventing unauthorized access;
- diagnosing errors;
- improving reliability and security;
- responding to support and deletion requests.
4. Audio recording permissions
RecordRadio only starts recording after the user actively starts the recording process and approves the Android system capture permission.
RecordRadio does not secretly activate audio recording.
The Android operating system may display a notification while recording is active.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of RecordRadio complies with applicable laws, copyright rules, platform terms, and the rights of other parties.
5. Storage of information
Local data
Recordings, settings, playlists, track metadata, and original backups may be stored locally on the user’s Android device.
Local data normally remains on the device until the user:
- deletes the recording;
- deletes the application profile;
- clears application storage;
- uninstalls the application;
- deletes the applicable files manually.
OneDrive data
When OneDrive synchronization is enabled, selected recordings and associated metadata may be stored in the user’s own OneDrive account.
Disconnecting OneDrive does not automatically delete files already stored in OneDrive.
Users can manage or delete their OneDrive files through RecordRadio, when supported, or directly through Microsoft OneDrive.
6. Sharing of information
MasterStudio does not sell personal information.
MasterStudio does not sell audio recordings.
MasterStudio does not use RecordRadio audio recordings for advertising.
Information may be processed by the following services when required for app functionality:
- Google Sign-In, for authentication;
- Google Play, for application distribution, security, diagnostics, and purchases when applicable;
- Microsoft Authentication Library, for Microsoft account authentication;
- Microsoft Graph and OneDrive, for optional cloud synchronization.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, a valid legal request, or to protect users, MasterStudio, or other parties against fraud, abuse, or security threats.
7. Advertising
RecordRadio does not currently contain third-party advertising SDKs.
If advertising is added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play disclosure will be updated before the feature is released.
8. Data security
RecordRadio uses reasonable technical measures intended to protect authentication information and application data.
Authentication tokens should be handled through the security mechanisms provided by Google, Microsoft, Android, and their official authentication libraries.
No system can guarantee absolute security.
Users should protect their device, Google account, Microsoft account, and device access credentials.
9. Data retention
Local RecordRadio information is retained until it is deleted by the user, the application data is cleared, or the application is uninstalled.
OneDrive files remain in the user’s OneDrive account until the user deletes them.
Support correspondence may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to process the request, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or maintain support records.
10. Account and data deletion
Users can initiate deletion of their RecordRadio profile through the account settings available inside the application.
Users may also request deletion outside the application by visiting:

A deletion request does not delete the user’s Google account or Microsoft account.
Files stored in the user’s own OneDrive account may need to be deleted separately by the user.
Files stored locally on the device may need to be deleted in RecordRadio, through the Android file manager, by clearing application storage, or by uninstalling the application.
11. Children’s privacy
RecordRadio is not designed specifically for children under the age of 13.
RecordRadio should only be used by users who are legally permitted to use the application and provide the required account authorization.
MasterStudio does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

RecordRadio may use services provided by:

The use of these services is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.
13. International processing
Google and Microsoft may process information in countries other than the user’s country of residence according to their own infrastructure, privacy policies, and legal obligations.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when RecordRadio features, legal requirements, or data practices change.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
