Andrea was a part of Barrett, the Honors College and as part of the requirements for graduating, she completed a thesis/creative project. Barrett students are given the chance to do something that they are passionate about, and they are responsible for completing the project over their last year with their committee. This website is a part of the project that Andrea created, that evolved over the research portion of the process.
Andrea is putting together a database for teachers who want to use recording technology in their classrooms. She believes that it is important for teachers to be comfortable with different kinds of technologies in their classrooms, and that they give their students every opportunity that they can. There are a lot of different options and opportunities for recording that teachers may not be aware of. She wants to give music teachers the opportunity to explore these options and the ability to produce quality products for their students. This website is a work-in-progress and it will be updated over time, as visitors pose questions or offer new information. To keep up on what is being updated, visit the blog page.
