No:
Can you take requests?: No, because I don't want to be overworked and too much will cause me stress and I will be exhausted.
Is Chucky The Hand Puppet inspired by Oobi?: No. Chucky was never inspired by anyone. He was first brought up by my dad, and then I started to do fun things with Chucky, and that's when that hand puppet exist.
Is Chucky's symbol connected to the demon hand symbol?: No he is not connected to the demon hand symbol. There has never been a mention from my videos, games, etc.. and I'd never intended for that to happen.
Will there be another Errors & OS content such as Ask Barney Error & more?: No. I'm retired from making those back in 2022. Errors & OS Network don't count since that one is also retired. You can still watch the full collection in the Errors & OS Network Video Collection.
Is any of the GoAnimate/Vyond community canon to your storyline and videos?: Just because it's made from Vyond doesn't mean it's canon. The details I use for Vyond are based on my headcanon. So no.
Can I be a moderator/administrator?: No, because being a moderator or administrator is not a toy to play with. You must take responsibility and look after the chat. Only those who are very well trusted by me can get them, like my closest friends.
Can I promote?: No, and the reason why is that the main topic might change, and it's not cool.
Can I make an official copy of your game?: It's disrespectful to the creator's wishes. No. However putting it as your edition/fan made and crediting the original creator is acceptable.
Are your games viruses?: If it was, then I wouldn't have published them. The answer is no.
Can you do a face reveal?: I rather not because the internet is wild and full of risks.
Yes:
Is cussing allowed?: Only in the Discord Server, just no racism, slurs, and harassing each other, because it leads to unnecessary drama.
Can I make a remake game or a fan game inspired by you?: As long if you give me credit in the description and in your game, then yes.
Can I make video inspired by you or your content?: As long if you give me credit in the description and in the video, then yes.
What I use:
What engine do you use to make your games?: Visual Studio
What animation do you use?: Vyond
Games:
How long does it take to make your games?: If it's the usual games such as Jigsaw OS, Yimen Error, or Majora.exe. It takes 1-2 weeks. If it's a big game like Google.exe: Redefined or the original Google.exe series, it takes 2-5 months to make. The original Google.exe 3 took a year to make because I had no idea and had a struggle.
What started you to create games?: It all started in 2014 with a GameJolt user named NayTeeGames. He created games that were truly terrifying. When I became a teenager, I admired his work, even though many of them were troll games like BEN.EXE. In 2016, I discovered that he had made a tutorial on how to create a BEN.EXE-style game. I followed his steps, but my version wasn’t very good because I didn’t have much knowledge of Visual Studio at the time. On March 14, 2016, I created a prank game called ERROR GAME. It was a simple troll: when you opened the program, it displayed an error message, and when you tried to “repair” it, it showed a fake BSOD. After that, I started making more games for fun and really enjoyed it. Majora.exe, Google.exe, and several other games were originally created between 2016 and 2017. Later, they were remastered between 2018 and 2020 when I returned to game development. I even managed to recover the source file for ERROR GAME from my old computer’s hard drive. Instead of fully remastering it, I decided to improve the original version. You can play the first ever game here.
Can you make your games in different languages?: Sorry, but it's English only. I don't speak any language besides English.
Do you need to know programming to create a similar game/application?: Programming takes a lot of effort to create an application. It's not easy.
Are there any tutorials on how you make your games on Visual Studio?: You can watch the Visual Studio tutorials on YouTube, because that's where I've learned. It took me a couple of years to master the way I do in modern games.
Can you bring back your classic games?: They're back in The Miscellaneous Games Gamejolt page. Don't expect anything from them since they're outdated, poor, cringe, and buggy. Just remember that the classic games can't be updated due to the USB's corruption on all the source files and I don't plan on updating them even if I get them back. Please credit me when recording or archiving them.
Why are you retired from making games?: I’ve been feeling overwhelmed when it comes to making games or remastering them. Bringing back some of these old projects makes me feel like a burden, especially because I see many of them now as cringe. On top of that, the attention and expectations from people on Gamejolt, along with my games’ history, have been bothering me. I feel like I can’t keep up anymore, even when I try to bring back my old games. Because of this, I’ve decided to officially retire from game development. I won’t be deleting my games, they will remain available for as long as my GameJolt account exists. However, I plan to keep my GameJolt account inactive.
Lore Content:
What is the Record-Verse?: The Record-Verse (also known as the Record Guy Universe or Earth-626) is the universe where Record Guy & Friends and the others lived after the event of the Time Clock's tamper from Cat and Chucky, The Record-Verse is basically just like the original universe but with a slight difference, more will, and peaceful.
What is the Record Guy 626 Chronicles/Lore based on?: The lore is based on my real-life experiences. When I was a teenager, I often imagined characters like The Blue Magic, Yimen, Tarluck, and Chucky. I would carry these ideas with me wherever I went, especially when traveling to different places. Over time, these imaginary worlds became a source of comfort for me. I eventually started sketching the characters, with Yimen as the main protagonist. I doodled him frequently, placing him in various adventures inspired by ideas and media that I enjoyed, such as The Real Ghostbusters, Monster House, Coraline, and others. Much of this story is explored in “Record Guy 626: The Beginnings of Entertainment” along with additional elements of my own imagination. In the summer of 2018, when I learned how to use GoAnimate/Vyond, I realized I could finally bring my imagination to life by turning these ideas into animated films and adventures. That’s when I began creating projects ranging from “The Master War” to “When Daylight Breaks”.
Community:
Can I be in your videos, content, movies or collab?: I don't add random people who I don't know, plus it ain't for people who wants to be noticed a lot.
Why was I timed out or banned from your live streams?: You must've broken a rule. If it's just a time out, then it's temporary, please do not break any rules again. If it's a ban, well I'm sorry, but I don't think it's worthwhile to come back until either you agree with the rules and learn a lesson or just move on.
Why was I kicked or banned from your Discord Server?: You must've broken a rule. If it's just a kick, please do not break the rules again. If it's a ban, well I'm sorry, but I don't think it's worthwhile to come back until either you agree with the rules and learn a lesson or just move on. You can read the rules in the Discord Server page.
What happened to the Record Guy 626 Official Discord Server?: The server died by inactivity and won't be coming back.
Others:
What are you known as?: I am known as the original character creator of Yimen The Stickman, Chucky The Hand Puppet, and The developer of the most popular game called Google.exe from Gamejolt.
How come you don't upload a lot?: It's because of the lack of motivation and in real life stuffs. I only make the videos based on my creativity and fun.
Why do you use MSPaint?: I don't make serious art a lot, so I mainly just doodle for fun.
Do you play any games or what games do you play?: Yes I do play games, but only the games I'm in to. I played Minecraft, The Binding of Isaac, and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. There's many more I like, but now you know.
Why are you roleplaying as Chucky The Hand Puppet frequently?: Let's just say he's a part of my personality and I feel more comfortable with him, plus he has been one of my older OCs since the start.
What type of ARG will you do?: I mostly do them under Miscellaneous Reality to prevent any plotholes to the main timeline, this is just an unofficial alternate roleplay-like path from the main lore. Sometimes rarely the ARGs can be on a film's launch event to hype up the audiences.
When will you do another ARG?: I will no longer do ARG since it grew out of me for some time.
What happened to the comments on your Errors & OS videos?: I've disabled them. I don't want them to populate my channel with kids and brainrotters, and I personally don't want to make more since I've grown tired of them.
Why are you retired from creating Errors & OS games?: I started creating these games in the summer of 2016 when I was a teenager. At the time, it was a fun hobby, even though many of the games were unstable and buggy. Between 2018 and 2021, I remastered many of them on GameJolt to improve their quality. However, not all of them were updated due to limited time and attention. From 2019 to 2024, some of my older games were reuploaded online without my permission. Since I no longer wanted the original versions circulating, I decided to remaster most of them with new improvements instead. The only exceptions were the “YouTuber Errors” and OS games. These were created based on requests, and some of them are also connected to past controversies. Over time, I’ve grown up and no longer enjoy creating these types of projects. After completing the remaining remasters, I’ve decided to retire from making them. Crap OS will serve as the grand finale of my Errors & OS series.
Why are you moving your other channels' videos into your main channel as a video collection?: It no longer serves anything useful to me by leaving the channels inactive with the videos there. I decided to reupload all the videos onto my main channel as a collection, so more people can enjoy what I had in storage.
