Recon Reviews — Terms Of Service

1. The Service
Recon Reviews provides Discord servers with tools to collect, manage and publish reviews through configurable panels and bot commands. Available functions may include review submission, review statistics, server-specific branding, invite rewards, Premium features, support tickets and administrative controls.
The Service is independent and is not operated, sponsored or endorsed by Discord Inc. or Patreon. Your use of Discord and Patreon remains subject to their own terms and policies.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement and any minimum age required by the law of your country. If you are below the age of legal majority, you may only use or purchase the Service with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You may only install or configure Recon Reviews in a server where you have the necessary authority and Discord permissions. If you act on behalf of a server, organisation or other entity, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Server Requirements
The bot requires certain Discord permissions to create, send, edit and manage its panels, messages and other configured features. You are responsible for granting the permissions clearly requested by the bot and for ensuring that its role is positioned correctly.
Recon Reviews is not responsible for features failing because of missing permissions, role hierarchy, deleted channels, incompatible server settings, Discord outages or modifications made by server administrators.
You must not grant permissions that are not reasonably required for the features you choose to use.
4. Free Plan
Each server using the Free plan may receive up to 40 reviews, unless a different limit is displayed by the bot.
When the available capacity reaches zero, the server may retain previously submitted reviews but cannot accept additional reviews until it obtains more capacity or activates Premium.
Free-plan limits and included features may be adjusted in the future. Material reductions will be communicated where reasonably possible.
5. Premium Plan
An active Premium subscription may provide:
- Unlimited reviews during the active subscription period;
- Premium-only branding and customisation options;
- Access to Premium review-card features;
- Priority Customer Support;
- Other benefits displayed on the Patreon page, inside the bot or in the official support server.
Premium applies only to the Discord account and/or server approved during activation. It may not be transferred, resold, shared or assigned without prior approval from Recon Reviews.
Premium benefits remain available only while the subscription or manually granted access is active. When Premium expires or is removed, the server returns to the Free plan. Reviews already collected will not normally be deleted, but new submissions may be blocked if the server has reached its Free-plan capacity.
Premium does not guarantee immediate staff responses, uninterrupted availability or the continued existence of every individual feature.
6. Billing, Renewal and Cancellation
Premium subscriptions are purchased through the official Recon Reviews Patreon page:

Prices, taxes, supported payment methods, charge dates and currency conversion are handled by Patreon and may vary by region. Depending on the billing method displayed at checkout, a membership may renew automatically until cancelled.
You are responsible for cancelling before the next billing date if you do not want the subscription to renew. Cancelling normally prevents future charges; access for an already paid period is handled according to the billing rules shown by Patreon.
Recon Reviews is not responsible for payment failures, processing delays, currency conversion, bank charges or platform errors controlled by Patreon, Apple, a bank or another payment provider.
7. Refunds
Refund requests are considered in accordance with Patreon's refund policy and applicable consumer law.
A refund may be considered where Premium was not delivered, the purchased benefit differs materially from what was advertised, a duplicate or unauthorised charge occurred, or a significant technical failure attributable to Recon Reviews prevented use of the paid Service and could not be resolved within a reasonable time.
Except where required by law or Patreon's policies, refunds are not guaranteed merely because you changed your mind, stopped using the Service, removed the bot, lost access because of your own server permissions, failed to cancel before renewal, or were suspended for violating these Terms.
If Premium access is supplied immediately after purchase, you expressly request that delivery begin without waiting for the end of any statutory withdrawal period. This does not remove any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Refund requests must be submitted through the official support server with the relevant Patreon transaction information. Never publish payment details publicly.
8. Invite Rewards
Eligible users may invite genuine members to the official Recon Reviews server and redeem valid invites for additional Free-plan review capacity. The available redemption amounts are displayed by the bot.
An invite may be considered invalid if it involves:
- A bot or automated account;
- An alternate, duplicate, recently created or otherwise suspicious account;
- A member who left the server before validation;
- A member who was already in the server;
- Self-inviting or coordinated invite manipulation;
- An invite already used for a previous redemption;
- Any attempt to bypass verification or abuse the reward system.
Invite rewards have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or Premium, and cannot be sold or transferred. Recon Reviews may reject, reverse or remove rewards where fraud, manipulation or a tracking error is identified.
Premium servers cannot redeem invite capacity while Premium is active because their review capacity is already unlimited. Unused valid invites may be handled as displayed by the bot when the subscription expires.
9. Reviews and User Content
Server owners control their review panel and are responsible for how reviews are requested, displayed and moderated in their server. Review authors remain responsible for the content they submit.
You must not use Recon Reviews to submit, request, publish or encourage:
- Fake, purchased, coordinated or misleading reviews;
- Harassment, threats, hate speech or discriminatory content;
- Personal or confidential information shared without permission;
- Illegal, sexually explicit, graphic or malicious content;
- Spam, scams, phishing, malware or harmful links;
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- Reviews intended to impersonate another person or organisation.
Recon Reviews may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, Discord's policies, applicable law or the safety of the Service. We do not guarantee the accuracy, truthfulness or quality of reviews submitted by users.
10. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Exploit bugs, bypass limits or interfere with normal bot operation;
- Abuse commands, components, support tickets, error reporting or invite tracking;
- Attempt to access another server's configuration or non-public information;
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell or impersonate Recon Reviews;
- Use automated accounts or scripts to generate reviews, invites or requests;
- Remove attribution where the bot requires it on the Free plan;
- Use the Service in a way that violates Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer policies or applicable law;
- Assist another person in carrying out any prohibited activity.
Security issues should be reported privately through the official support server and must not be exploited beyond what is reasonably necessary to demonstrate the issue.
11. Moderation, Suspension and Blacklisting
Recon Reviews may warn, restrict, suspend or permanently blacklist a user or server where we reasonably believe that it:
- Violated these Terms or applicable platform policies;
- Abused reviews, invites, subscriptions, support or bot infrastructure;
- Created a security, legal or reputational risk;
- Engaged in fraud, scams, raids, malicious activity or payment abuse;
- Attempted to evade a previous restriction.
When a server is blacklisted, commands and features may be disabled and the bot may leave or refuse to operate in that server. Where reasonable, affected users may contact the support server to request a review of the decision.
Suspension for misconduct does not automatically create a right to a refund, except where required by law or platform policy.
12. Support
General Support and Subscription Support are available through the official Recon Reviews support server. Priority Customer Support is reserved for users with active Premium access.
Support response times are not guaranteed. Users must provide accurate information, use one ticket per issue, avoid repeated mentions and treat staff respectfull
Error codes generated by the bot help staff identify technical incidents but do not contain a guaranteed diagnosis. Users should provide the exact code privately when requesting assistance.

13. Availability, Updates and Changes
Recon Reviews is provided on an "as available" basis. Maintenance, outages, Discord API changes, third-party failures, security incidents or development work may temporarily interrupt features.
We may add, modify, limit or remove features where reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance or product development. We will attempt to communicate significant changes through the bot or official server.
We may update these Terms. The updated version will include a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
14. Data and Privacy
To operate the Service, Recon Reviews may process limited operational information, including Discord user IDs, server IDs, channel and message IDs, server configuration, submitted reviews, invite activity, subscription status, timestamps, moderation records, ticket content and generated error codes.
This information is used to provide features, enforce limits, prevent abuse, deliver support, maintain security and improve reliability. Server owners must inform their members that a third-party bot is being used and must configure it lawfully.
Do not submit sensitive personal information, passwords, authentication tokens, full payment details or confidential documents through the bot or public support channels.
Operational records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations. A separate Privacy Policy may provide additional details and takes priority for privacy-specific matters.
15. Intellectual Property
The Recon Reviews name, branding, bot, original graphics, documentation and software are owned by or licensed to Recon Reviews. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Recon Reviews the limited permission necessary to store, process, display and transmit that content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service.
16. Third-Party Services
Recon Reviews depends on third-party services including Discord and Patreon. Their own terms, privacy policies, availability and enforcement decisions apply independently.
Recon Reviews is not responsible for third-party outages, account restrictions, payment decisions, API changes or content. Discord may remove or restrict bots and Patreon may process billing, cancellation and refund matters under its own policies.
17. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or suitable for every server.
Recon Reviews is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of data, reputational damage, server disruption or actions taken by server administrators or review authors arising from use of the Service.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
18. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot and cancelling any active subscription separately through Patreon.
Removing the bot does not automatically cancel Patreon billing. Cancelling Patreon does not automatically delete server data or remove the bot.
Provisions relating to payments, intellectual property, moderation, liability, disputes and any rights or obligations intended to survive will remain effective after termination.
19. Disputes and Applicable Law
Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact Recon Reviews through the official support server and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any mandatory rights available to consumers in their country of residence remain unaffected. No provision requires a consumer to give up a court, remedy or protection that cannot legally be waived.
