Recite helps you memorise scripture by reciting it out loud and grading how closely you matched the text.

When you write in, it helps to include your device model, iOS version, and the app version (Settings → About).
Recite isn't hearing me.
Check that microphone access is on: iOS Settings → Recite → Microphone. If it's already on, close and reopen the app, and make sure no other app (a call, a voice memo, headphones with a disabled mic) is holding the microphone.
My recitation was correct but scored low.
Grading compares what was heard against the verse text, so background noise, speaking very quietly, or trailing off at the end of a verse will pull the score down. Try a quieter room and finish the last few words clearly. If a specific verse scores badly every time, send us the verse reference and we'll look at it.
Try downloading the "High accuracy" Speech Engine under Settings >Speech Engine.
Does Recite work offline?
Speech is processed on your device, so recitation and grading work without a connection.
