System Commands

System commands are commands that are ALLCAPS. There are currently five system commands:

• CLEAR: Clear the screen. Do nothing else.
• NEW: Clear the screen. Also clears the memory.
• RAM: Enable RAM mode (which is the default mode)
• HD: Enable Hard-drive mode.
• FUNC: Print all functions installed. See functions section for more detail

In RAM mode, the recipes you define (You will know how to define them in later sections) can be erased with system command NEW.

When you type NEW and hit enter, the screen will be cleared and you will see

In HD mode, you will see two ">" symbols instead of one. Everything you define will be saved in the "hard drive" and can never be erased with any commands.

There is a way to erase stuff in the hard drive, which is get a new calculator by placing it in the crafting grid. However this will erase everything you defined.

Additionally, you can use #archive() function to disable a recipe (even if it is in hard drive). See Guide>Functions section for more details.

Keyboard Control

• UP: Scroll up one line
• DOWN: scroll down one line
• LEFT: Cursor/Caret moves left
• RIGHT: Cursor/Caret moves right
• Left-Ctrl+UP/DOWN: scroll up/down 10 lines
• Left-Shift+DOWN: scroll to bottom
• ENTER: execute the command
• ESC: save the screen and exit GUI
