This privacy policy applies to the PantryGenie: AI Recipes app for Android, together with any related services operated by Bangash Slice Tech (collectively, the “Application”). Bangash Slice Tech is referred to as the “Service Provider”.
By using the Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application. Our Terms of Use also apply.
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. Depending on how you use the Application, this may include:
Automatically collected / device-related information
Your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address (as processed by our network and service providers)
Approximate usage information such as screens visited, time spent, and session activity (via analytics)
Device and app information such as mobile operating system, app version, and crash diagnostics
A hashed device identifier derived from Android’s ANDROID_ID, used only to enforce free AI recipe generation limits for guest (signed-out) use so clearing app data alone cannot reset the free quota on the same device
Account and profile information (when you sign in with Google)
Content you create or store
Leftover ingredient text and other recipe inputs you enter
Generated and saved recipes (steps, chef notes, tags, chef personality, tools, time limits)
Digital pantry staples
Cook logs / eco-kitchen streak history
App preferences (theme, default chef, notification toggles, cloud sync, public-riff settings)
Cloud and community information (when signed in and features are enabled)
Private cloud copies of recipes, cook logs, and profile/streak-related stats in Firebase Realtime Database under your user ID (when Cloud Sync is on)
Public community (“Feast”) posts you choose to publish, which may include leftover descriptions, your display name (or email fallback), reaction counts, and timestamps visible to other users
Your user ID associated with reactions you add on public posts
AI generation quota counters for your signed-in account (successful free generations and lock/cooldown timestamps), synced so the same Google account shares free-tier limits across devices
The Application may declare the Google advertising ID permission used by Google Play services / Firebase Analytics on Android 13+. The Application does not currently show ads and does not use the advertising ID to serve advertising in the current version
Future updates of the Application may include advertisements served through Google AdMob (or similar Google advertising products). If ads are enabled, those services may collect or receive device and advertising identifiers, approximate location or IP-derived information, and interaction data as described in Google’s advertising / AdMob privacy documentation. Where required by law, the Service Provider will update this Privacy Policy and obtain any required consent before non-essential advertising tracking begins
The Service Provider uses this information to operate the Application, authenticate users, sync optional cloud data, run the community feed, enforce free AI usage limits, send optional reminders you enable, measure reliability, diagnose crashes, maintain security, and comply with law. The Service Provider may also use contact details to send important notices and, where permitted by law, marketing communications.
2. Cookies and tracking technologies
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, identifiers, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, crash reporting, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
3. Artificial Intelligence
The Application uses third-party AI (currently Pollinations) to generate recipes from ingredients and preferences you provide. AI processing is performed to fulfill your request and is subject to this Privacy Policy and the AI provider’s own terms and privacy practices. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate; it is not medical, nutritional, or professional culinary advice.

The Service Provider does not sell your personal information. The current version of the Application does not show ads.
Only aggregated, anonymized data may be used to help improve the Application. The Service Provider may share information with third parties as described in this privacy statement, including trusted processors who help operate the Application and who are expected to protect the information and use it only to provide services for the Service Provider.
Please note that the Application uses third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies. Relevant providers include:
When advertising is enabled in a future update, AdMob and related Google advertising services may process advertising identifiers and related device / usage data under Google’s policies. The Service Provider does not control Google’s independent use of data under those policies.
The Service Provider may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to rules consistent with this privacy statement.
5. International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers (including Google and Pollinations) may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms, which may include:
Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
Adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms
Your consent, where required and legally permitted
Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact tousifbang10@gmail.com.
In the Application you can also:
Use Guest Cook mode (data stays local until you sign in)
Control Cloud Sync and Public Riffs in Settings
Export saved recipes to your clipboard from Settings
Delete My Data (removes locally saved recipes and cook history; if signed in, also deletes cloud backup and public feed posts; Google account remains; pantry staples and some preferences may remain on device)
Delete Account (deletes your PantryGenie: AI Recipes Firebase account and associated riffs, cook history, cloud backup, and public posts; re-authentication may be required)
Sign out on this device
Turn off streak reminders / revoke notification permission in system settings
Uninstall the Application to stop further on-device collection
You may also use the account deletion flow published for the Application (for example the delete-account web page linked from Play Store listings, where available).
7. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. The Service Provider does not sell personal information. To exercise CCPA/CPRA rights, contact tousifbang10@gmail.com.
You can stop further collection of information from your mobile device by uninstalling the Application. Uninstalling stops the Application from collecting new data from your device, but does not automatically delete information already transmitted to the Service Provider or to third parties.
To request deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent, or exercise any of your rights, contact tousifbang10@gmail.com.
The Service Provider retains personal data based on necessity for the stated purposes:
User Provided Data: Retained for the duration of your use of the Application plus up to 12 months thereafter, unless longer retention is required by law or needed to complete a deletion / account-closure request
Automatically Collected Data (analytics / diagnostics): Retained for up to 24 months from collection, unless longer retention is required for legal compliance or security
Aggregated and Anonymized Data: May be retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you
Cloud recipe backups, cook logs, quota records, and public posts: Retained until you delete them, turn off relevant features, delete your data/account, or the Service Provider removes content for policy or legal reasons
AI prompts sent to Pollinations: Processed to fulfill your request; retention by Pollinations follows their policies
Data required for legal compliance: Retained as long as required by applicable law
Some local data (for example guest AI quota counters tied to a hashed device identifier) may remain associated with the device identity even after you clear app storage, until the cooldown expires or you request deletion assistance.
You can request deletion of your personal data or account by using in-app Delete My Data / Delete Account controls or by contacting tousifbang10@gmail.com. The Service Provider will process verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Upon verification of your identity, the Service Provider will delete your personal data from its systems, except where retention is required for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes (for example fraud prevention or completing a pending legal obligation).
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law (for example 16 in some jurisdictions). The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. If the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, that information will be deleted. Parents or guardians who believe a child provided personal information should contact tousifbang10@gmail.com.
The Service Provider uses physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards appropriate to the Application, including authenticated access to private cloud data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
13. Data Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, information about the nature of the breach and steps being taken to address it.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect. Previous versions will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting tousifbang10@gmail.com.
Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
