The Recife Meeting on Mathematics, celebrating the 70th birthday of Vilmos Komornik, is a scientific event on control and stabilization of partial differential equations and number theory. Our purpose is to be a forum for debates between students, professors, and researchers from Brazilian and foreign institutions. We also aim to stimulate the development of research activities and to contribute to the generation of new knowledge and training of qualified personnel.
