The Recharge Festival is held in the picturesque native New Zealand bush setting of New Gupta Vraja, 12kms down the Otaki Gorge, just one hour north of Wellington.
New Gupta Vraja is home to 20 acres of native bush and birds with fruit trees and vegetable gardens too!
There are two main buildings:
Krishna Kunja – main event hall for the Recharge Festival
Gaura Haven – separate smaller accommodation facility
This tranquil setting, teamed with spiritual food, sounds, discussions & company, is simply… nectar!
During the year New Gupta Vraja is used for private retreats and working bees, encouraging simple, healthy living and time for contemplation and meditation.

Speed
Please restrict your speed to 50km/hr once you have crossed the swing bridge and are approaching New Gupta Vraja. There are generally a lot of locals walking or biking on the road, so this is important for their safety as well as yours.
Please restrict your speed to 20km/hr once you are inside New Gupta Vraja.
Roads
The road in New Gupta Vraja is a one-way circuit road following an anti-clockwise direction. It is only wide enough for one car, so please be careful driving at all times.
When you arrive follow the RIGHT fork in the road which will take you past the main house and down to the festival hall parking. Please drive carefully and do not exceed 20 km/hr.
